Dusty Moments, America's Finest Blog, is dedicated to photography and the American way of life. With each old snap shot or Kodachrome slide, a bit of the psyche of the person behind the camera is revealed, while simultaneously creating mysteries as to the true nature of the subject's story.
The words within this blog are my own. Many of the photographs are mine too, but included also are the dusty moments from my parents and grandparents, as well as, junk store finds.

OK today's photos is of my parents and older sister. I have no idea of the date or occasion. Also there are couple of photos from my mom's youth, a Brownie Parade and the other from an Easter Sunday.
Enjoy. The slide reads, Barb, Caroline and Marty at Grandma Great's (Easter Sunday)
The occasion was my First Communion which I remember practicing for every morning before anyone else got up by wearing a white slip and putting a towel on my head then marching very slowly up and down the hall sticking my tongue out at the end to receive the element.
