One may say that not all these horses are pale. One may say that not all who ride are family, in fact one may say not all have riders. But you must admit that a horse, is a horse, of course and that excessive and silly references to pop culture or otherwise have very likely rendered this blog entry trite. 
That having been said, fear not oh brave readers of this, America's finest blog, the photos will save this entry from the words of the blogger and triteness in general.

Look Mom, no helmet! I just got back from a long weekend with family on our horses. Imagine my surprise when I check into Snaps and find... family horses. Great images. They invoke thoughts and questions I would never have had. Thanks for doing this.
