The Shaw Island Nuns
Five years ago today the Franciscan Nuns of Shaw Island took their habits and left the island. The nuns and the habits ran the ferry terminal and general store on Shaw Island. It was always amusing to see the sisters running the dock when the boat arrived. So tonight, a nun or two.
