Dusty Moments, America's Finest Blog, is dedicated to photography and the American way of life. With each old snap shot or Kodachrome slide, a bit of the psyche of the person behind the camera is revealed, while simultaneously creating mysteries as to the true nature of the subject's story. The words within this blog are my own. Many of the photographs are mine too, but included also are the dusty moments from my parents and grandparents, as well as, junk store finds.

The Double Exposure
Something that has been lost in the digital age, is the perils film advancement. Film advance issues have ruined many a family photo, children trying to blow out a dressed elk, or worse a nice picture of you, with mean cousin Larry superimposed across your face. Another thing lost in the digital age, is the lame Photography 101 project to create a double exposure in the darkroom, this usually results in comical material or worse highly over thought and yet silly attempts at true art. So tonight some double exposures and one over thought and silly attempt at art.

I've been playing around with this concept lately. Interesting results, dreamlike.
