I was right, she is one fine gal, lucky for me the Comet is gone, but gal is still here...
Dusty Moments, America's Finest Blog, is dedicated to photography and the American way of life. With each old snap shot or Kodachrome slide, a bit of the psyche of the person behind the camera is revealed, while simultaneously creating mysteries as to the true nature of the subject's story. The words within this blog are my own. Many of the photographs are mine too, but included also are the dusty moments from my parents and grandparents, as well as, junk store finds.

A New Chapter
Tonight Cicely sold her Comet, so it is a bit of a sad time. The Comet was quite a car back in the day, I will always have some fond memories of the old thing. I remember Cicely showing me a picture of it on the Internet before we were even dating. Actually I think it was a picture of a '62 Falcon, and I was to image 4 doors and fins...The car fit Cicely to a tee in those days, and I knew that she must be a real fine gal if she was driving a 1960 Comet.

In honor of the Comet, I washed my Fiat tonight and drove it to the movies.
