New February 13th

I wanted to show pictures of an Easter from long ago or even pictures from our lovely Easter weekend on San Juan Island, but a more important topic has made itself visible. It's time to consider renaming April for what it really is, New February. Consider it has snowed more this April than in February and in general the weather has been just as awful as any given February. To those who would like to remind the blogger of the 3 nice days we had this month, get over it, snow fell of either side of the nice days. Besides February occasionally even has a sunny day.
Now some will say this is due to "Global Warming", or its' new name "Climate Change." With the new name, we are still able to fear the future, even if it's snowing in April. I know, it sounds like I don't believe in "Climate Change," I do, so if you don't or you don't know what it is, go to Google and type in "Climate Change" and about 47 million results will appear, have fun reading and please use a reusable energy source. If you don't want to read, just envision a future of Waterworld, meets A.I. meets Planet of the Apes, meet Thundarr.
Anyway, back to my rant, some non-believers may say that, "Climate Change," along with "terrorists" are just the latest way the power hungry politicians have conjured up to keep the population scared. Belief in an Utopian world of tolerance and cooperation without wind bag politicians and Free Masons, could have easily arisen after the fall of the USSR, but lucky for us, the powerful people had plan B waiting. I mean have you actually seen the Arctic Ocean devoid of all ice, have all the penguins and polar bears actually died?
Maybe its all a plot by politicians to get you to give up your car and to move to the city or within the borders of the regional transportation authority. To give up land ownership for a condo with earth toned faux wood siding and brushed aluminium ascents in the city. Then vilify those who stay in homes, as "Libertarian" or worse "Republican."
Why move folks into cities? Why it's to enrich targets for "terrorists." If "terrorists" only attack cities, then if more folks live in cities the more folks will be scared of "terrorists." Therefore, happily giving up civil rights for their own good. Just assume that many people saw Orwell's 1984, as a goal, not a pitfall.
Okay, I'm sounding a little like the callers to late night talk radio, it must mean it's time for bed. In closing all I really know, is that it is April 13th and today it snowed and I pictures to prove it.
Happy New February 13th
Dan
